About Rachel Ray
Rachel founded Chromia Collective with a passion for ethical business.
Rachel is a multi award-winning entrepreneur who, in her previous business, transformed a £200 investment into a £ multi-million turnover national enterprise, with 50+ franchises from Edinburgh down to Plymouth, employing over 500 people. She achieved a seven figure sale after only 8 years and now loves to help other entrepreneurs achieve their ambitions.
As a leader in ethical franchising, Rachel’s work has been celebrated in prominent media outlets like The Guardian, BBC, The Daily Telegraph, and YOU Magazine. In 2016, Rachel was named Outstanding Entrepreneur at the Northern Power Women Awards. A year later, she was recognised by the Manchester Evening News as one of Manchester’s 100 inspiring women.
Before launching her own business, Rachel built a 20-year corporate career as a business consultant. She started her career as a Chartered Management Accountant and recently achieved a post graduate Masters of Leadership, where she focussed on ethical business practices, psychology of emotion and well-being, and strategic thinking.
Beyond work, Rachel is passionate about health and well-being, travel, faith, art and spending quality time with friends and family.
